A Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) is a network of formal and non-formal educational institutions dedicated to promoting education for sustainable development. Each RCE helps translate the global sustainable development agenda into a local plan of action. Their work helps create innovative approaches to address sustainability challenges through research and education, while building a strong knowledge base around sustainable development in their respective regions. Each RCE partners with some the world’s foremost educational, scientific and technological institutions.
